The OPL9728 makes data capture easy! It’s small, lightweight and conforms to IP54 standards. It collects your information at an impressive 100-scans per second! This unit has enough Flash ROM and RAM memory to accommodate an entire day of scanning. Its real-time clock enables each record to be tagged with a date/time stamp for accuracy. This model has IrDA wireless communication, LCD display (with as many as 10 lines of information), and 3-key operation. Custom applications can be developed using the available Software Development Kit (SDK).

This kit includes a charger/communication cradle, power supply, RS232 cable and lithium ion battery. The IrDA interface within the cradle allows data to be transferred when the barcode reader is inserted for charging. The multi-station cradle lets you charge up to 5 terminals at the same time. You can even daisy chain up to 16 cradles to a single host computer to form a network.

Even after the rechargeable batteries have been drained, the data can be stored thanks to the back-up battery.

Various cradle products are available to provide charging or charging with communications options. The IrDA interface within the cradle allows data transfer when the scanner is inserted for charging. The multiple station cradle permits charging of up to 5 terminals simultaneously. You can also daisy chain up to 16 cradles to a single host computer to form a network.

A backup battery enables extended use between recharging cycles because it allows the storage of data even after the rechargeable batteries have been drained. Custom applications can be developed using the available Software Development Kit (SDK).

The rugged OPL 9728 is designed to meet IP 54 standards for dust and moisture intrusion.
