This Opticon LPN1736 laser barcode reader is among the smallest omni-barcode readers available. Don’t let its size fool you. (Requires only 3” x 3” of surface space.) This model comes equipped with a keyboard wedge interface, sand and power supply, and it can read 1000 scans per second with a 20-line scan pattern to provide aggressive scanning without orientation of the barcode symbol.
Hands-free scanning gives you more freedom, but the weight (or lack of it) of the reader means manual use is not out of the question. It weighs less than 7.2 ounces!
