This compact, lightweight Opticon LPN1736 laser barcode reader is among the smallest omni-barcode readers available anywhere. It requires only 3”x 3” of surface space! Don’t let its size fool you. It reads 1000 scans per second with a 20-line scan pattern to provide aggressive scanning without orientation of the barcode symbol.
This particular model comes equipped with RS232 interface, stand and power supply. The hands-free scanning means both hands are free, but it’s so lightweight (less than 7.2 ounces), you could certainly use it manually when necessary.
