This Hand Held Product (IT5620) linear imager comes equipped with a cordless kit that includes keyboard wedge interface, barcode reader, base, cable and power supply. It also features Bluetooth® Class II v1.2 technology and provides you with freedom of movement.
With the Bluetooth® technology, the IT5620 has a range of 10 meters (33 feet) and utilizes adaptive frequency hopping for improved performance in existing RF environments. Its power is provided by a lithium ion battery capable of delivering up to 25,000 reads between charges.
The IT5620’s superior ergonomics delivers comfortable operation in traditional barcode reading mode or hands-free operation. And, its unique “statue-like” design takes up less space at the POS area.
Powered by Hand Held Products’ exclusive Adaptus™ Imaging Technology, the new IT5620 extends its mobile capabilities by drawing power from a portable device for radio and host communications.

Adaptus™ Imaging Technology - Hand Held Products’ exclusive brand of imaging technology provides best-in-class read range and an unsurpassed ability to read poor quality bar codes. Both features are well suited to cordless applications where improved efficiency and ergonomics are primary goals.
Bluetooth® v1.2 Class 2 Radio - Developed to reduce interference in existing RF backbones, including 802.11. Only v1.2 uses Adaptive Frequency Hopping (AFH) to mitigate data collisions in the 2.4 GHz frequency band, while providing a 33 foot (10m) working range.
Unique Base Design offers the following features:
• A minimal footprint that is up to 33% smaller than major competitors’, simplifying installation and leaving more counter space for customer service or other application needs.
