Since barcode reading is the most efficient way to enter data into a computer, the CFSC 5M is the product for you. Its integrated Type II CF card and barcode reader plugs into the Type II CompactFlash slot of Windows Powered Pocket PCs. You can combine this with a CF-to-PC card adapter (Part #4001-515, sold separately) to use the CFSC 5P in pen tablets or laptops. This product automatically decodes the most popular barcode symbologies including UPC/EAN, Code 39, Code 128, MSI, RSS-14 and Codabar. Fuzzy logic enhances the ability to read damaged or poorly printed barcodes.
Just plug the card into your Windows Powered Pocket PC or XP Tablet, launch Socket’s SocketScan™ keyboard emulation software, and read barcode data into any Windows program. The CFSC 5P’s one-hand operation improves efficiency. The CFSC gets power from the host Pocket PC, so no extra batteries or special power adapter is required.
